When Adding Unbound Rows Text above disappears

    Hi,

    I have a procedure that when a button is clicked, the information in a label is added to the grid.

    It works fine for the first two, but when you get to the 3rd, it inserts the row below the previous row, but deletes the text from the row above.

    Thanks,

    FillGrids(Me.fpGrd1, Me.lblTimer1.Text)

    Private Sub FillGrids(ByVal fpGrd As FarPoint.Win.Spread.FpSpread, _

    ByVal sTime As String)

    Dim r As Integer

    r = fpGrd.ActiveSheet.RowCount

    AddGrdUnboundRow(fpGrd)

    If fpGrd.Name = "fpGrd1" Then

    With fpGrd

    'r = r + 1

    .ActiveSheet.SetText(r, 1, CStr(iWatch1))

    .ActiveSheet.SetText(r, 2, sTime)

    End With

    ElseIf fpGrd.Name = "fpGrd2" Then

    With fpGrd

    'r = r + 1

    .ActiveSheet.SetText(r, 1, CStr(iWatch2))

    .ActiveSheet.SetText(r, 2, sTime)

    End With

    ElseIf fpGrd.Name = "fpGrd3" Then

    With fpGrd

    'r = r + 1

    .ActiveSheet.SetText(r, 1, CStr(iWatch3))

    .ActiveSheet.SetText(r, 2, sTime)

    End With

    End If

    End Sub

    Hello,

    Are you using the latest maintenance release of Spread for Windows Forms (version 4.0.xx09)? If you are, this sounds like an already reported bug that will be fixed in the next maintenance release.

    No, I am using V3.2005. 2010

    Is there a work around for this?

    Thanks,

    Hello,

    This is the latest maintenance release of Spread for Windows Forms version 3, which is the same base code as Spread for Windows Forms version 4. It has the same bug and will be fixed in the next maintenance release. There is not a known workaround for this issue.

    Thanks for replying.

    Will there be a maintenance release for v.3.2005?

    Do you have any estimate to when this will be available?  All my grids will use the add unbound row, so I need to decide whether to put just a basic grid on my forms?

    Thanks,

    Sheri

    Thanks Scott,

    I really like the spread and the support you guys provide.  I will put my project on hold until the release is available.

    Thanks,

    Sheri
